Misty has been a part of the Elite family since 2004, but her experience in cosmetology stretches back about 15 years in total. She used to work in insurance claims, but decided that cosmetology was the right career path for her! Originally from Duncan OK, she got her cosmetology education at Eve’s College of Hair Design before it became Elite Academy of Cosmetology, and now she works as one of our instructors! Misty believes that learning should be fun and if you love what you do, it will never feel like a job!

My students! And everything this industry has to offer!

What inspires you?
Lots of things! My family! And I have to give most of the credit to my instructors, and the people who have helped me along the way!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love spending time with my family and friends! And looking on the internet at the new fashions!
