What Programs Do You Offer?

You can choose from a variety of beauty programs at our school. We offer:

How Long Does It Take to Graduate?

Program lengths vary and graduation depends on how quickly you are able to fulfill the state required hours. The hour requirements for each program are:

After graduating you can sit for the state board exam to become licensed. If you attend our school full-time you could be ready to sit for your exam in just a few months!

How Long Is Your Cosmetology Program?

Our cosmetology program can be completed in as little as 10 months. Each student’s experience is different, so it may take longer.

When Do Classes Start?

Our cosmetology classes start about every six weeks! Start times for our other programs may change, so please contact us for the next enrollment period. Do I Have to Come to School Every Day?

We encourage you to follow our schedule. We want you to take advantage of everything you can while you are here. Missing classes or trainings could have a long-term effect on your career.

If I Struggled in School Can I Succeed at Beauty School?

We offer many different ways to learn the information including hands on, demonstrations, visuals, activities, and traditional book material. If you have concerns about any tests or assigned readings, we can assist you in coming up with a plan to help you succeed.

When Do I Get to Practice On an Actual Person?

You can expect to spend the first six weeks in our basic program, where you can learn and practice on mannequin heads. After those first six weeks, we provide tests to make sure you are ready. From there you can expect to take guests each day!

Will You Help Me Find a Job When I Graduate?

While we can’t guarantee job placement, we can help you find a job after graduation. As part of our curriculum we can help educate our students with job-seeking skills relevant to attitude, dress code, job applications, resume preparation, and job interviewing. We also encourage our students to interview with two salons of their choice and post current job openings to keep students updated on opportunities available to them.

How Do I Apply to Elite Academy of Cosmetology?

Our admissions team is here to help with every step of the application process. Give us a call and we can set up a tour, discuss your goals and programs of interest, and help you navigate financial aid, which is available to those who qualify. We are here for you!

Do I Need to Have a High School Diploma to Enroll?

Yes. In order to enroll, you must be 17 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED or its equivalent.

Can I Transfer From Another School?

Yes! We welcome transfer students that are currently in good standing and have resolved any financial commitments to your previous schools.

Before transferring, make sure all completed hours from your previous school have been submitted to and approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. This can help make the transferring process easier.

How Can I Pay for School?

We believe beauty school should be affordable for everyone. We are an accredited college and able to offer a variety of financial aid options, which are available to those who qualify.

Are Books and Equipment Included in the Fees?

Yes, the tools, books, and materials are included in the cost of our programs.

Salon Services

What Services Do You Provide at the Salon?

We are a full-service salon* and offer haircuts, colors, beard trimming, hair extensions, facials, manis & pedis, perms, and more. Give our salon a call to talk about what you’re interested in having done!

How Much Do Your Salon Services Cost?

Prices vary based on the service and the location. You can get an idea of pricing at each location by viewing our services menu. You can also call our Lawton salon at 580-355-6620 or our Duncan salon at 580-252-6620 for specific pricing and to set up an appointment.

Is Your Salon Open on Saturday?

We are open the first Saturday of the month 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Check out the rest of our clinic floor’s hours.

Can We Work on Our Friends and Family?

Yes! We encourage our students to invite their friends and family to participate in their education. They are welcome to come in during our clinic floor hours.
