The first step to becoming an esthetician in Oklahoma is by applying to a local school that offers an esthetics program. Most esthetics programs focus on facial treatments, makeup application and hair removal. At Elite Academy of Cosmetology, our 600-hour esthetics program is broken down into:

  • Bacteriology
  • Dermatology, Histology, & Physiology
  • Facials
  • Non-Permanent Hair Removal
  • Salon Development
  • Cosmetology Laws, Rules, & Regulation

Licensed estheticians can also have the opportunity to take additional training courses to become certified in services such as microblading, lash extensions, and advanced makeup applications.

We greatly value our students’ education and want them to get as much hands-on practice as possible. Esthetics students have the opportunity to work in our student salon* while in school and perform services on clients so they can gain real experience before they graduate.
