Nail Technician School

Nail technicians provide manicure and pedicure services for their clients to help them look and feel their best. Nail technology is a popular career choice for many reasons, some of which include the relatively short educational requirements, the creative nature of the job, and the ability to work with other people. Nail technicians have the freedom to choose their own schedules, build their clientele, and specialize in the services they enjoy most. A career in nails can open opportunities to create art, manage a spa, or even build your own business!

About The Program

The Nail Technician program at Elite Academy of Cosmetology requires 600 hours to complete. Upon completion, students receive a certificate and are eligible to sit for the state licensing exam. During the program, students have the opportunity to learn the following topics:

  • Bacteriology – 40 hours
  • Manicure & pedicure – 160 hours
  • Artificial nails – 160 hours
  • Nail art – 60 hours
  • Nail structure, diseases, & disorders – 60 hours
  • Salon development – 80 hours
  • Cosmetology laws & regulations – 40 hours

Our 600-hour nail technician program allows full-time students to complete the program in about 15 weeks, which means they can graduate and get started in their careers much sooner than they would be able to in other degree or college programs.
